God's Worldview Part One

Before we get started let me give some definitions here:

Worldview: the way you see the world - this is shaped but just about anything and everything: religion, education, family, culture, friends, etc.

Beliefs: the things that you believe. (Truth is not a factor in you believing it.) What you believe shapes your worldview. You usually believe that what you believe is truth, though most people acknowledge the fact that they can not have everything right. (Even though they act like it.)

God sees this world, and He has a perfect worldview. If you are in Christ you should see the world the way He does, thus have the same worldview as God - not expect Him to have the same worldview as you.

But I can't understand the mind of God I hear someone say. Well actually - You have the mind of Christ. Just read 1 Corinthians 2: 14-16

14But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15
But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.
16
For “who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

The natural man doesn't understand the things of God because they are foolishness to him. So it makes sense that this world's general view of the world does not line up with God's view.

It is only by the Spirit of God that we understand the things of God, but we have the mind of Christ. That is Christ has given to us, by His Holy Spirit, His mind.

So do you want to know God's worldview? Start by reading your Bible. Perhaps starting in Proverbs.

In part two I will explain with examples of this.
